Works Well As Usual... But watch out for upsells

Worked pretty well, and I have used this software for many years. The one thing I did not appreciate was a somewhat deceptive upsell to the next higher level version: It implied that I would need this for state income tax and for support of Sched D investments. I confirmed this was not necessary by going back and looking at my order details from when I purchased the software.

Once again the program had a conflict with federal and state returns. Looks like I won’t be allowed to e-file my state return.

I've been using H&R Block for about 10 years now after switching from Turboo T, after Tur T tried to con me out by removing features requiring me to go to the next level for more money.
HRB has been very reliable for me. I download my for investments, royalties, and other stuff.

Always use H&R Block Deluxe. The software fulfills all my needs and is simple to use. My only concerns have to do with the early automatic renewal (November) and inability to get complete and accurate information online or via customer service regarding my account and past renewals. H&R Block could do better here. That is the reason I deducted one star.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have used H&R Block software for years to do my own taxes. Before that, I did them by hand using paper forms and calculations. Much easier and quicker now and I still get to say what I put into it by hand.

I thought your tax program was very good overall as I have used it many times before the only issue I had was when I was using it to do my sister-in-law‘s taxes where she had no taxable income. I was not able to e-file because there was a zero in the taxable income space Line 16a even if I edited that number and override The value as the program was not allow an override on that value
