Good except the program doesn’t allow for multiple mortgage statement on same loan due to a home loan being sold.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

Great product but be sure you get correct platform

I started on line and completed all, but much prefer to download the product as I have in the past. I downloaded the program but couldn't transfer the data from the on line product so had to start over. If there was a way to do so, the product would be better. I do like the ease of both products and guided directions.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

We've used H&R Block Deluxe Software for the last 10 years and have been very satisfied. This year however, we were dissatisfied that the updates were slow to arrive. And, our refund was 60% lower than in previous years. In the past the printed return had "senior" on it. This year NOT! We are 82 & 84 years old. We are not capable of figuring out the calculations behind the various forms etc., that's why we use your product. Doubt we'll use your product anymore.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The instructions guiding me through it were mostly helpful. However, when I got to filing the state return, I was using my driver's license. There wasn't enough room to put the whole license number in so it didn't agree with the federal return and it was rejected. Nothing I did could fix it, and I ended up getting a number from the state. I am hoping I wasn't charged twice for filing the state return. It was a problem with the software, not my error.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

Missing one needed item - I have to file multiple out of state tax returns due to worker my in multiple states. Software only let my claim back my out of state income for one of these other states on my primary, residential state return, not the others. Feels like a simple fix but it’s not included.
