Easy to use but printing returns could be better.

Overall I really like the product. However, I do have one suggestion. It would be nice when printing a return that it be formatted better for two sided printing. For example, if you have a singled sided form followed by a double sided form then when the double sided form prints, half is on the back of the previous sheet and the other half on the front of the next sheet. It would be nice if there was an option to "print" a blank page for the single sided forms so that other two sided forms print on the same sheet.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

H and R Block tax software is very easy to use but I did not like that it would duplicate some information that was already input when you download some of the 1099 forms. You have to go back through everything again and make sure nothing was duplicated. For example, when you manually input your 1099 DIV and then electronically download your 1099b. It double posts the information from the DIV.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents

Used H&R Block for years & it’s good overall.
Hate that you never changed the Forms, so you can only get the pages you want. WOULD LOVE TO SEE MOVE FLEXIBILITY WHERE YOU COULD CHOOSE THE FIRST 2 PAGES OF A RETURN, AND THAT’s IT! Hate you have to print out all those forms where it’s all 0’s and nobody cares! What a waste!
Also, K-1’s are very complex with very little help!
I guess the inner workings & details change, which is good, but the Forms page drives me nuts

I expected that the program would import the 2024 return,which it wouldn’t do. So I had to retype everything. I probably should have tried TurboTax.

I purchased H&R bloc Deluxe 2025 Software at the last minute because I couldn't get Turbo Tax to install on my notebook in spite of the fact that I had Windows 11. After trying to avoid purchasing Microsoft apps etc. I gave up. Block was compatible with Windows 10 on my desktop. It downloaded easily. It's a super clunky program compared to TurboTax and more expensive. It got the job done.
