I was able to complete my taxes. However, it seems that your product hasn't changed in 10+ years. The user interface reminds me of Windows XP. A lack of AI functionality kept me from realizing that one of my 1099-Rs was much lower than in previous years. Had I known that, I wouldn't have submitted my first return and I wouldn't have had to submit an amended return.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

This is my 27th year using HR Block software. It has taken care of my needs through marriage, my spouse's self-employment, complex investments (i.e. Partnerships that generate K-1's), and now retirement! I've never had a need to try any other software and do not plan on changing!
Importing last years data is a huge time saver. It's easy to review and change information as needed. The interview topics are thorough and easy to follow. It's easy to get help and education within the program. I like that is shows how much my refund changes + or - as each topic is completed. The program even suggests things to consider that could decrease my tax liability in the following year! Using HR Block software is almost like having a CPA at your fingertips.
