As always, the program was easy to use, and the cost is fine. The only thing is if you need to do an amended form it is a little confusing on the filing aspect. Got a very late 1099-K.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

After installation, the software worked fine.
As in years past, however, installation of updates was wonky. Every update did not install, even though some messages described downloading the software.
The only solution was to restart my Mac and then immediately re-try to install the update. This worked OK.
Please improve your software update feature so that it works without having to restart my computer.

Not good, doesn't seem very trustworthy

Got this to do my own and my mother's taxes and the program appears to have several bugs in it. The accuracy review kept asking me questions I did not need to answer according to the actual program. I had to go back and totally restart the return process from scratch, got a DIFFERENT accuracy error. It wouldn't allow me to fill in the slot on the extended form that was in question, but had no provision for it in the short form. Then when I went to the end, resubmitted, went back through again, it actually submitted the return. Praying we don't get audited for this crappy, stupid program.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Been using for years but have run into two situations the desktop software did not handle well. Last year, my son’s multi-state returns were coded/submitted out of order; it took months and another app to fix. He was told the cause was a known bug in the software. This year my state return was put on hold when my fed was rejected yet I got an email saying the state was submitted and a hold for the efiling fee put on my credit card. Software did not submit or resubmit state once the fed was accepted so I spent a few days with 2 efile fees pending (first was released after 5 days). Mine cannot be a unique situation.
I would recommend this to a friend!

You do such a poor job with states; I have quit buying them. They cost is too high and I guess you still charge extra for e-filing the state. I have used Block for years, but I am wondering if federal fill and save forms are for me.
