For claiming itemized deductions on form 1040 schedule A, line 5a, "State and local income taxes or general sales taxes," your software needs add a question for non reported, untaxed income sources. Currently there is on way to include VA disability income.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
