I've been using H&R Block software to do my taxes for years now. It doesn't take long to complete! The hardst part is gathering together all the information I need to get started. I submitted my return the same day I started and received IRS acceptance within an hour of submitting! Not bad!
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

Need to add more financial institutions to the investments list. Not doing so makes it far more time consuming to add critical information to tax returns.
Some that are missing are Goldman Sachs, Bank of America and Wells Fargo Advisors.
Also, It would be very valuable to be able to easily enter data by each tax form as it is received.
Cons: Hard to import documents

This is the 3rd year I have used H&R Block tax software. It has been great for filing federal income taxes. My only problem was filing state income taxes but probably due to my unique situation.
Pros: Easy to prepare
