I always use H&R Block software because it is very simple and everything is self explanatory. It allows me to file electronically so that I get any refunds quickly. The cost is trivial compared to the hassle of filling out paper forms which are not self explanatory.

Works but poorly designed for all but idiots

The software works without needing the forms but is fairly poorly designed for saving time and questioning to ensure accuracy. It should copy EVERYTHING that is the same from the previous year and ask if it is each time a critical bit of info comes up such as bank account numbers for deposit. It's the users fault if they are so stupid they can't check the number or remember. Stop making the rest of us look up and put in the info every year. It's the stupid waste of time I was trying to avoid by purchasing your software. Also, questions about things you put in to check if it's good to itemize are also useless and more stupid unneeded work when I already know that, without significant changes in law, I WON'T be itemizing.
