I've used HR Block for decades and love it. I've had no issues until 2024. I ran into a bug in the Michigan software. I called support and the support person was helpful but needed to escalate the issue. I've haven't yet received a follow up and can't file my return as the form can't be overridden with the correction. I would have expected a much quicker response to a bug report.

There have been glitches in the software this year. Return would not save in usual method. Unable to import data. Unable to e-file state return along with Federal.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents
