This is taking a little getting use to. For years I have used Turbo Tax which made filing electronically pretty easy. I’ve run into a couple of roadblocks that delayed filing electronically but all-in-all, this seems to be a good program to use.
Pros: Easy to import documents

Good, but...

The interview questions are confusing around 1099-R RMDs. The questions need to be more clear about under/over accumulation. Either the calculations in the software are off or the questions are unclear regarding the amounts of RMD taken. I spent over an hour researching this before finally figuring out why the software was showing a penalty on "excessive accumulation." Please fix this issue!
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Been using the product for many years, and appreciate it has good value - reasonable price for an accurate outcome.
The various interview workflows are overdue to be reviewed. They have not been improved for years. Most could be simplified, e.g. "Do you need to itemize?" Several also need disambiguation - the instructions can be interpreted in multiple ways, leading to confusion and errors.
This 2024 season in particular, there seem to be more false positives being flagged during Accuracy Review and no way to report these as bugs - so this feedback is now showing up in a public review.
