I have been a customer for over 10 years and the software has proven to be the best,. which is why i purchase it each year. This year however the import feature does not work and I had to spend hours to manually input the data from my 1099-b. Support did not have a fix and the last update did not fix the issue either.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents

Good software but need more clarification to help

I have been using HR Block software for many years after my retirement. I love it. It is a great tool for file 1099-SR tax return. I used to use Basic software to file my tax return in the past, but this year I tried Deluxe. I found the the two software provide very similar results in my case. However the Basic one seems to have better instructions than the Deluxe, specifically the RMD part part is very confusing. I plan to to go back to Basic next year that is much easier to use.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming
I would recommend this to a friend!
