Each year the program seems to add new features and the process gets smoother. I did have a glitch this year but I don't know if it is because of HR Block or eFile. But, because I used the new ID PIN process with the IRS I was not able to efile. The eFile error said my SSN and ID PIN number were not correct. They are both the numbers that the IRS issued. So, I had to do a paper filing.

Does not automatically include state Wage Summary

The PA state does not automatically include a Wage Summary Statement if you are a retiree with no earned income (I.e., no W-2).
It refuses to file electronically without the Wage Summary Statement, asking that a pdf be uploaded.
This is the second year in a row that I have run into this.
This is an obvious mistake on your part and one that you can easily rectify.

I have utilized this software since 2005 without any issues until this year. The Federal return was submitted without issue, but the State return was rejected. The issue is with Oklahoma school credit form 591-D & 591-D-SUP. I submitted two (2) children for credit, but for some reason this software is not uploading the 591-D for one child, it only uploaded the 591-D-SUP which is the second page. It did upload both forms for my other child, even though there were no entries on the second page, 591-D-SUP. Each page allows ten (10) entries per page. I had twelve (12) entries for the child for which the software failed to upload the first page, 591-D. Even with downloading a hard copy to mail, the software failed with the same issues. I had to individually select the 591-D & 591-D-SUP in order to print for mailing a hard copy for my State Return.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents
