Had great reviews, but not as accurate as I hoped

Overall, the program was thorough in covering topics, however I ran into a major issue with the import feature, where is doubled the entries on interest earned which boosted my supposed tax bill by a huge amount. Going through each import action took about 3 hours of my time to delete the double entries and correct the mistaken entries.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

was good but the state program wasn't fully functional with the property tax credit and I had to file it separately and was not able to file through H&R's program this not making it worth buying and spending the extra had to mail it in directly and hand prepare the state
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

First time user. Used TT for about 20 years. Print seems to be smaller across the board and was unable to use e-file to state due to tax issue. Never encountered in TT. Very disappointing since I had to file paper copy.

Bought 2024 Tax software, my third annual purchase. One suggestion: The "edit" and "delete" selections are adjacent. One can, by accident, select the delete option, and all is lost. I suggest a follow-up question to the delete; "Are you sure you want to delete this?" before actual deleting. This is common on lots of software!

I used the H&R Tax Software just like I have for many years and was satisfied with the product again but I received a notice from the IRS that they had questions regarding my tax filing. I went to check the forms I had submitted and noticed a glitch in the printouts. While the software correctly figured my long term capital gains and losses it printed out as shirt term capital gains. Since I haven’t received the IRS mailed copy of the issues I can only assume this is where they are challenging my tax submittal. I cannot correctly assess this years tax software. Once I get this issue resolved I can do a better assessment. Up to this point I have been very satisfied with using H&R Tax Software.
