Easy to Use

I have used HR block Deluxe + State Tax software for over ten years and have never has a problem. It is easy to understand and use. The only problem has been filling the return electronically. This is the first year that I have been able to send it electronically thanks to HR Support.
Pros: Easy to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

The software is good, I have been using it for many years. Unfortunately, since last year the software has issues to properly update on Mac OS systems. The update "pretends" to launch itself but fails to do so without providing reasons. One basically has to be somewhat of a systems expert to then find the downloaded update file on the local hard drive (mind you it does not save in the download folder, but rather buried in the system file structure) and launch in manually.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have been using the H&R Block Deluxe program to file my taxes for many years. The program is just excellent & always updates for any tax changes. The ability to start from the beginning, step-by-step, or jump to any topic is very good. The Federal & State tax summary is very helpful, but the comparison from current year to last year is my favorite feature. You can easily find any mistakes by using that.

The DO NOT support the Accurate Calculations Guarantee. I submit documents and get no responsse. Agents hang up when you try to get answers on the phone. The agent in person new less about taxes than me. He was rude and disrespectful. And, not helpful. I have a casse number, but when you call you don't any support.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
