The instructions to complete the state return are incomplete and unclear. Not all forms are included (Arizona has tax credits for contributions to certain charities). The program does not track carry-over credits; you have to do that yourself.
Pros: Easy to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The 2024 Form M1PR, Homestead Credit Refund for Minnesota does not report it correctly. I does not forward the Nontaxable Social Security benefits on line 2. I thought I was going to get a refund until I compared with last year. Been noticing more things every year. May have to try another program - can't trust yours.

Used this software for years and normally would give 5 stars. This year the RMD was very confusing, poorly written with no explanations.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

I bought the software in dec 2024, however, I could not get the software to update in jan. had to delete and reinstall. I then tried to send my taxes to irs and there was a problem i didn’t understand or solve so i sent them in by mail.

Used to get a presale offer at a slightly discounted rate, no more. And, retail price increased significantly this year. Paid for a product called "Deluxe" yet installer calls the product "Basic" - a cheaper version. So maybe "Deluxe" is an artificial price point with no software difference? Did I mention that all emails from them are a non-reply, non-monitored box so no way to send feedback. Not happy at all and will shop for a better experience next year.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
