The state software failed to import the correct income from the federal portion of the return and wouldn't permit me to enter the correct numbers manually, rendering it useless. I will be requesting at least a partial refund.

I have used this software for 3 years. I appreciate how it doesn't force me to a web app with my data in the cloud and instead lets me keep it all locally on my pc.
However, I have faced problems that are hard to determine how to fix. This year the review said it found errors in Schedule D but didn't highlight any exact items as the problem. I found that in a list of stock transactions one of them when Edited didn't have the same information the software showed in the list. Another error occurred from form 1116 which your software didn't need to complete at all due to the small dollar amounts involved. Your support generally had no clue in how to fix these things, suggesting deleting things instead--which then can cause other problems.

I paid waaaaay too much for an additional state the software would not allow me to efile. Tried to get help with their online option, useless. Called the support number. On hold for 30+ minutes and had a hrs time explaining what the issue was. Finally put on hold for them to research and got disconnected. I will NOT be using this again
