Need further elaboration on the accuracy check. For instance, during the accuracy check, error was detected and showed on the worksheet with highlighted for the error, it is recommended to further elaborate something like " please correct the error on the highlighted area below on the worksheet" so we can get it to the point to correct the error(s) on the highlighted area on the worksheet to save the time to figure out where to correct the error(s). Need more institutions support to import the TAX Forms. For instance, lake of Fidelity Investments 2024 TAX Forms import support for 2024. Need to enter the data manually. Sounds like TurboTax supports TAX Forms importing for Fidelity Investments.
Cons: Hard to import documents

It was awful. I had to try three times to get the State version to upload. Then I got three messages that you had charged me for each attempt. Hopefully only one charge shows up on my statement or we are going to be going thru more hassles

2025 is the first year in over 20 that I've done my taxes without assistance from a professional. The Deluxe 2024 software made it clear and easy for me. I'd recommend it to anyone, but especially to people who aren't particularly confident because the program takes you by the hand and leads you through to success.

It still has bugs in the worksheet of recharacterization of excessively contributed IRA to Roth IRA. After recharacterization, the resulting total Roth IRA amount, although within the normal Roth IRA contribution limit, was shown as an excessive Roth IRA contribution in the worksheet. It's flagged but could not be overridden.

Cons: Hard to import documents

For the past couple of years, I"ve been experiencing problems with the software. First the interviews for a K1 were not working and I had to manually find the forms and fill them out. This year, on my new mac, the returns would not print correctly. This has been a problem since 2020 and still not fixed apparently.

It missed deductions. After done my refund was MUCH less than last year. I went back though it and discovered missed items. It was a little confusing to use, and harder than Turbo tax.
Info didnt transfer well. I couldnt fix misstyped info at spot, had to go all the way back to beginning to fix.
Will not be using again.
