I’ve used this software for years. Importing information from the prior year is so useful. I have a couple of suggestions. The display in upper left reads federal and state amounts owed or to be refunded but it doesn’t follow standard accounting practices. The box reads owe but the amount is listed in parentheses which should mean a negative amount owed but it really isn’t negative and is the amount owed. Also there should be more guidance on itemizing vs taking the standard deduction and the likelihood you’ll actually be able to exceed the standard deduction and an option to select the deduction and move on.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

I've been using H&R Block tax software for about 10 years now. This year's version has been great as always. Despite having to deal with numerous transactions in half a dozen accounts, I was done in a few hours. It's an excellent value, very easy to use, and super accurate. Highly recommended!

I am not as impressed with tax software, in general, as I when I began my purchases in the 1990's. but first, why do I have to commit to your terms & conditions to provide you with feedback.
