Many very good years with Taxcut and another good, tho not perfect, year. Tho fixed problem with 1099 for farm, for second year didn’t receive free state with premium package. Took long calls with two reps before finally receiving free state to add.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

I have used HR Block for years, starting back when it was called Tax Cut. They're reliable and I know the software is accurate. So I trust it. The only drawback? They used to send me yearly emails with incentives to buy the following year. They no longer do that. That's the biggest drawback.

Have been using this product for years! Until I had to upgrade my computer, it was ideal! Having upgraded it is still a favorable tool! EXCEPT, WHEN IT DECIDES I OWE THIS DECEIVING GOVERNMENT BUREAU OF THE I(F)RS.

I have used the program for the past 5 years for my family's tax returns. It does the job. I am a retired CPA with 41 years of experience. The program does not require a powerful computer to operate. My computer does not have a lot of power.
