The product is good. It could be better by asking more questions in the interview and by including AI supported help in bring up forms or answers to questions even if it were to just send in you in the right direction.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

Not as good as previous years. The 1040ES vouchers wouldn't print and there were other deficiencies in the estimation of next year's taxes. The IT workers need to do a better job of checking their work.

My biggest problem with the software is that it charged me TWICE to file my state tax. I had to pay for the state filing before any returns were filed. My initial federal return was rejected because two digits in an ID were reversed.I was instructed identify and correct the error, and then to refile. But in order to refile, it made me pay the filing fee for the state a 2nd time. Pretty cheap trick.

Errors in Saving the Returns in the PDF Format

I've been using this software for more than 10 years. The installation and filing are very straight-forward, except this year (2025). Only the top left corner of the PDF copies of the returns is saved.

I have used your product for many years. It's been so long that I have no idea how many years I have used it. I have never had a problem with the IRS when using this software. Occasionally, I don't understand what the program is asking me but if you stop and carefully read the material and the help available you can find the answer.

I have used H R Block federal and state tax programs for over 25 years. I used them when I was self employed and after I retired. Never had a problem, my return was never questioned by the IRS! They are simple to use and understand and are absolutely accurate. I recommend them highly.
