As with other yearly products I generally find H & R Block software easy to use. The only downside is finding the place in the interview when one needs to make a correction.
Pros: Easy to import documents, Fast
Cons: Time consuming

Have used HR block software for several years. This the program updates were a problem. The updates had to be done manually and the website was not secure.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've been using H&R Block Tax Software when it was called TaxCut. Easily the best tax software on the market. When I needed an accountant to do my taxes for a few years, I discovered he used software from H&R Block. Given they are in the business, I trust the consumer version is accurate and complete. I've never had a problem. The ease of navigation and interview process makes tax prep smooth, easy and quick.

For the first time in the past 5, this year I had no problems getting the H&R Block Deluxe program to load on my laptop. The program worked very well this year. My only issue was at the end, it was difficult to tell if I had submitted my returns or not. Also, I'm not happy that I still need to pay to e-file my state return.
