This is probably the 5th year I used H&R Block for tax purposes. I think each year the program gets more user friendly. Easy to import information. Accurate data.

I BOUGHT THIS PACKAGE THAT WAS MOSTLY GREAT I WAS A LITTLE DISAPPOINTED IN THE FACT THAT IT SAID 5 FED RETURNE AND ONE STATE FOR FREE. THEN I HAD TO PAY TO FILE THE STATE BY EMAIL. WILL NOT DO THAT AGAIN

Most info inputs easily, some items associated with investment income and IRA's are not explained clearly and are more time consuming to figure out. The worst thing about the software is that when I was e-filing at the very end , it had to do an update first, and the amounts I had entered for the state to refund and keep for next year, which I assumed should not be affected without telling me, were changed, and since I needed to get done with e-filing I did not recheck amounts (lesson learned) and the refund amount changed drastically without my knowledge. This is a serious mistake in my book, so I may use someone else next year.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Since I normally do not complete my taxes until after the new year, I was shocked to see that your offer to reduce the cost by 50% was temporary and had expired when I went to purchase my software. I called and was told I would be reimbursed 50% because the promo was actually still valid. I have yet to receive any refund.
