I've lost track of how long I've been using HR Block, but every year it makes it relatively easy to figure my taxes. Usually I don't have to file either federal or state due to income level, but I've been using it to get a quick AGI to use for my state renter's property-tax refund. This year that refund needed to be claimed via the state income-tax form so I decided to file both federal and state. My first attempt to e-file federal was rejected; but HRB walked me through making the needed corrections, and my 2nd attempt was successful.
The only downside is that sometimes the instructions don't exactly match what I see onscreen, but it wasn't too difficult to figure out what needed to be clicked.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

usually use turbo tax, but new versions will not load on my older laptop. the help sections were a bit short on help. just like other tax programs if you want a question answered just pay a little more. once you click a certain box in some of there questions you were stuck and unless pay for advise you spent your own time and research fixing the problem.overall OK but not really Great.

This is a poor inconvenient product. My taxes were exported from the software which I no longer have access to and can not change the file type to print my taxes and I called support and they can’t help me.
