I have used this software for at least 15 years and will continue in the future. Compared to the government's version, this is actually easy. It also fills in many item automatically if you have previous versions which certainly is appreciated.

Using H&R Block Software every year is efficient, quick and easy. It imports your information from the previous year and walks you through questions step-by-step, just as if you were sitting in front of your personal tax preparer. When you complete your tax return, the software will alert you to any corrections that need to be made. I have never been audited by the IRS using this Software. I tried another Software program a long time ago and came back to H&R Block Software the following year.

The software didn't handle my trust K-1 forms well for Federal or VA state taxes. I'm going to have to file the VA state taxes by mail and hope they can figure it all out. Plus I called the help line and they told me they only handle software issues and that I couldn't get any help on the tax issues itself unless I bought the online version.
