I had to do a schedule k and its explanation sucked and was hard to do. Also at the review kept saying wrong but I just put information from forms in and it did not want to except it. Plus at start of state it showed getting back an amount but soon as I started it lowered a lot without even showing why. The software said I had to file state as filed jointly because one person had no itemized deductions even though federal did not use itemized deductions
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was not able to file electronically so had to print and mail. Very disappointed!!
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

For me, I had a lot of trouble reading the very stupid light gray text on a white background in the forms. Why don't you take into account not everybody who buys your tax software has perfect vision.

Too Hard to Read Type

I'm over 80 and have not so good eyesight. your forms with very light gray type on white background make the program very difficult to read. I will not be using your tax software for 2026

Thought it was good at first. But program would not accept corrections to two small errors I made. No support from H&R. Had a friend who works in accounting give it a go. Still won’t accept corrections. Can’t get refunds we need as a result. We used TurboTax for years with no problems. So sorry we changed.

Had the same problem as last year - agi did not agree even though it shows correct. When i called last year got sent down a rathole by your people and got it filed in april and paid in july 2026. Will csll support again but not looking forward to it. No choice unfortunately for 2025 will look at other options for this year.

Had some problems.

Have been using Block tax prep program for many years. However, the version for 2025 taxes gave me some problems. Perhaps, it use user error but had to do the taxes twice. First time the program had me owing $2.0 Million in taxes! I wish I had that problem. Had to start a second return from scratch so, I did double work. Still not sure the results are right. Will have to check it again.
I would recommend this to a friend!
