Been using HRB TaxCut software for many years now. Software is fairly easy to install & use. Just follow the interview process to do your taxes. Filing your returns electronically went without a glitch.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

My taxes are not challenging, so this software is not being well-tested. To give it a comprehensive review would require a far more complex return, but for me, it seems to work fine.

It has no form or check box to receive Colorado TABOR payments and it made me pay twice for my state filing.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

This thing is a horror show. Basic functions in the SW do not work or are hugely broken. Forcing me to chase the red ! around when they never clear and the broken SW will not let me finish the return. Asking questions that make no sense or could be interoperated multiple ways.

Great for “normal” taxpayers, not for more complex

I have used this software for at least a decade. While deductions have nearly become useless treatment of income has become more complex. I am finding that more forms are required and this software is not keeping up with available forms.
