Thanks for fixing the filing issue that happened last year. Filing was faster than usual this year. It would help me if you expanded the Helps part of the software. The information is very limited & I often have to search on line for information.

Well it's better than pen and paper, but leaves lot to be desired. My returns are not complicated, but this program drags you though page after page of items that don't apply to me. So that adds complication to the process.

Used H&R Block for years - disappointed this year

I've used the H&R Block Deluxe software for many years. This is the first year I found a problem with the software. The feature that allows me to compare this year's entries to last year's entries in a report did not work properly. I rely on the feature as a "sanity" check and this year it failed.

This did the trick this year but wasn't as user friendly as years past. This version did not have any "skip for now" buttons as in years past. These were helpful in not getting stalled on a particular step or missing information. They allowed you to continue entering the info you had, while awaiting updated info from a third party.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents
