I've been using this software for almost 10 years without issues but not this year. The software could not handle my schedule k. Also, the foreign tax credit (form 1116) was not done correctly. My brother who had the same schedule k and used TurboTax had no issues!
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

You can make it a great software if you include the State return free of charge like the Federal return. Putting it in the mail is like taking a chance that it will get there. It will be more secure.

I did not trust the final refund I got after completing the form. I tried to find the problem with no success and ended up starting over with a resulting refund less than 50% of the first run. I accept the problem was probably from data entry as I have never had a problem in previous years.
