I've used this product for years, but this is likely my last year. I'll list a few of the many problems here.
Though it offers to print some things that it calls "worksheets," there's no way to print IRS worksheets that are critical to understand how different types of income contribute to your tax, such as the Qualified Dividends and Capital Gain Tax Worksheet or the Schedule D Tax Worksheet.
A printed return, with or without worksheets, doesn't show your capital loss carryover for the next year.
The "Jump To Related..." feature often says there are no related entries, even for lines such as 1040 Line 15, Taxable Income.
If your Windows Taskbar location is set to Left, some windows open partially hidden by the taskbar.
If you don't like unnecessary scrolling, you need to enlarge the Forms window every time you open it.
I'm hoping and expecting that TurboTax isn't this bad.
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I relied on your state program to complete my daughter's NY state return. Your accuracy cherck failed and missed that my daughter's residency was not indicated. Got a notice from NYS and now I have to await what NYS will tell me what to do. No doubt this will affect her refund. Call me dissapointed.

Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

Was not able to complete an amended state return because of a glitch in the software that was never resolved. Ended up having to complete that by hand which defeats the purpose of buying the software.
