Mostly easy to use and understand how amounts are calculated. Did have a problem with one question. I called the "help desk". That person was able to help me quickly. One of the questions (wich had been in previous years) was reworded. The "rewording" was confusing, even the help desk person admitted the same. When rewording or adding new questions, please make sure the question is very clear to the user as to what you are asking. Thanks.

I had trouble at the end trying to file, there was an error and it was not easy to figure out an address was missing in a field to continue. I’m glad I did a few days ago earlier the filing date because I was frustrated and had to walk away and come back to it.

we have used H &R software for about 16 years. It has been a neat and easy program to use. We used a couple of others, they were good as well, but H & R program just seemed to ask the right questions. Easy to use, questions are straightforward and it guides you through most all areas that I am concerned about.

Wouldn't work my Mac anymore. PC version seemed glitchy. There was a red cover o a box where I needed to enter dat. took me 20 minutes to get it to work. but then I hate Windows.

My rating would be five stars but for the fact that the program uses such small fonts that i have to sometimes use a magnifying glass against the computer monitor to read the words or numbers. I've mentioned this every year when i get this survey, but apparently no one really cares to make the fonts adjustable by the user.

Generally, the product is good - it got me to where I needed to be. However, it had some limitations. Primarily, the navigation within the form (to go back and re-do a form) was confusing. Also, the check of the forms before one submits them is a bit confusing. It is not clear how one goes about correcting those items. Further, why allow certain information to even be recorded without key information (e.g., the date of a mortgage) or data to be input from other forms (e.g., 1098s or 1099s) that winds up missing some of the key information?
Pros: Easy to import documents
