I am mostly happy. My only issue is when I import my Ameriprise account it does not transfer the tax free dividends to my state return.

Been using this for two decades and will continue to use. Gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it didn’t let me know that the 6K deduction was only if you itemized and not on top of the standard deduction (maybe I’m wrong on this?)

easy to use but it does not explain everything

I love how easy it is to use but I wish that some sections explained things in more common language. For basic tax items it's great but when I have to dive deeper into more complicated items, there is not enough explanation to understand what I am supposed to do. I wish that there was more help readily availabe in the program without having to seek outside of it.

The software works, but it is awkward to use and progress on the return is difficult to track. Instead of showing you the form being filled out, you just answer a bunch of random questions behind the curtain data is entered on a form without you seeing where it goes and what the effect of the entry is. I have used TurboTax and its predecessors for 40 years and it is MUCH more intuitive, and you see what is happening.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
