I have used the H&R Block deluxe software for about 10 yrs., the software is easy to use and proves very helpful hints. Upon completion the software does a check before electronic filing the tax returns.
The only drawback is the add-on fees as you progress through the tax preparation, all fees should be shared upfront and not just the base rate.

I've used HR Block numerous times,either the software or online both of which I've had to always pay for. This was the only time I ever experienced an issue an it was the worst.

The process for recovering from a rejection of the federal audit on the impact of the state audit submission leads you to believe that you may be paying for the state audit twice and actually may be doing so. Have not checked my credit card statement yet to know for sure. That said, a well-designed process would not force me to have to check or have this concern.
