I had been using TurboTax, for a number of years. A little skeptical in switching. Your program was easy to ad adapt to. The check out caught two errors, faulty input on my part.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

I bought the software a few months ago and as I used the software it kept telling me that I had errors in my filing but it would not let me correct the errors in my form.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare

Basically very good. I hate that it makes me hand verify each transaction in my stock and bond accounts. They are downloaded from my financial institution, who know better than I do!

I have used H&R Block tax software for ten years now and I have been satisfied with the results. Although this year I had a question that no one would answer. Last summer we did a remodel of our home. In the process mold was found in several places and had a direct effect on the cost of the remodel. Mold is a health hazard and I wanted to know if I could claim those costs as medical expenses. I filed without claiming those expenses because I couldn't get an answer.
