Ok, but more cumbersome than in prior years.

I have used it for many years, but it seems like it was more difficult to find simple things like how where to put roof depreciation, estimated taxes for state. Just a few simple things. the H & R help stuff was hot helpful I went to the google search engine to fine some answers. Over all I like the program, I have a feeling the techs got to trying to improve and forgot wh there user was.
Pros: Fast

Good at asking questions and filling in the correct forms and schedules on a complicated tax return.

I have been purchasing H&R Block Deluxe for many years and I have always found the software to be so easy to follow. Even if I have a question about what I need to do, the instructions are very clear. Cost of the software I also consider to be very reasonable.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

The software for the State (CA) showed that I owned no penalties - however, I just received a notice from the Stare Franchise Tax Board that I owe about $18 in penalties! Not a big deal, but the software should have got that right!
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
