I purchased in Jan 2025 and have used it over nine times now. Formats are great to work with. Not confusing and are able to seek assistance. So yes I will purchase for 2025. Thanks for an excellent product.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast
Cons: Hard to import documents

Much better than 2023 where I was forced to file on paper because the s/w had a feature preventing 8939 from e-filing.

I don't like to be charged for E-file and get the reports returned, and then spend money to mail the reports, but the charge still in the bank account.

can't efil prior year

I bought this because i thought i was going to be able to e-file a prior year. THat was not the case.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It works as always,, but I think I need something added to it that I can use to calculate my wash sale stocks... I often trade same stock at different dates and number of shares that it leave my tongue twisted ....
However my broker probably had it figured out as shown in my 1099 statement, but they dont leave any explanation on how they arrive at those figures ... even your software question the figures . I ignore your warnings because wash sale rules are senseless as far as I am concerned... no wonder most of us avoid wash sales. I dont blame you for not providing worksheet on wash sales but it can be useful and it can give traders more confidence to try wash sale transactions to see if they can get ahead... The wash sale rules can be like a dead end but it can be worked out if you provide a worksheet desgined for that.

The program does a very good job of preparing your taxes especially from year to year but you still need to be intimate with how the information is compiled and processed. Overall, it is quite accurate. The only issue I have is the support that they tout is non-existent.
