cannot file a NYS amended return. software will not allow me to click send

I bought H&R 2024 last month, I want to install on my main computer but cannot be open. But cannot be done. I am stuck in the computer I dom't really like to use. Usually I can work trough different computers, especially desktop.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

Must be familiar with interview progression. Some items are hidden as to where you go to input info. Deluxe version includes a state but later you find out you have to pay extra to efile that state. And if you need more states, it is the same price as the deluxe cost AND again, you pay another fee to efile that second state.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Generally, this is a good program. Certainly seems accurate, but I believe it could benefit from an overhaul to make it more user-friendly. I was repeatedly frustrated with a lack of coherent information, or difficult to understand information, when the system would block me from entering an item. I asked, Why? I was referred to an "answer" that, in fact, was not an answer, just a slight enlargement of the earlier indication that I couldn't do it. So, how is that helpful?

Cons: Time consuming
