I buy this every year because it makes doing taxes simple and quick!
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

I wanted to try this out without having to provide a Windows 11 PC. It is different. 2 of the date fields would not let put in a date in the format shown XX/XX/XXXX. I was limited to 4 digits so I just left them blank.
Cons: Hard to prepare

Could be errors

Do not understand how H&R Block program figures the tax owed. (1040SR line 16) H&R program generates 7,332 for me, but the actual 1040SR 2025 Tax Tables has 7,752. There is a difference of $420. This is a large error. Which number is correct, the IRS Tax Table or H&R Block?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

FAST, ( just don't use FIREFOX to try to get IP #)

FAST / accurate, But did I say it's fast..... One WARNING !! IF you need to get a new IP PIN #, FIREFOX DOES NOT WORK ON THE GOV. WEB SITES ! That can waist hours, and the loss of brain cells. (use Chrome or maybe others?)
It cost TOO much and the fee to E-FILE a state also TOO much, but I add, Aren't they all? Might as well get the faster one ......

Email on status of irs and state returns pages

I used this software as I have for many years to do my 2025 taxes. The emails have lagged behind by over 2 week. This makes it very confusing when you get all emails over night 2 weeks after the filing all at once.
