It works well but if you do more than standard deductions it requires too much knowledge of taxes and requirements. Some of the things that are explained in the instructions on tax paper forms are not clear to a beginner doing their own taxes.

Program wa fast and easy to use. you can switch between question asking and direct form entry. I switched a couple years back because the old program i used became very slow and bloated. I am glad i switched, i have had no issues. My only suggestion is that it was not intuitive how to jump from the form value to the sub form that fed the value in. Ultimately i found the right click. One other suggestion, once i change the location of where i want to store my results, when i open a new return, it goes right back to your default. Allow me to set a directory that sticks for follow on returns i complete.

I have to use this software on multiple computers. It is very difficult to load this software on multiple computers. I get a new computer every year, usually right after the first of the year, and have to reload the software. It is very difficult as I am required to get a new activation code eery time.

I order this software every year . This is the fastest way to complete federal and state taxes at the same time. Only downside is the e- efile for state is not included. But I guess that’s because every state has different processes.
