We must have done something wrong. I did not receive my Federal refund. In stead I had to verify my I d. I did that and still have not received my refund.

Changes needed to make it more user friendly:
1. Allow users to print out empty forms that do not automatically print NOT FOR FILING in large print along the right side of the sheet of paper.
2. Do not automatically recommend that users use the standard deductions rather than using individual deductions.
3. Allow users to save more than one copy of a return for the same year so that they can compare and contrast results using different titles for the returns.

I have been using H&R tax software for a few years now. I have always found it to be extremely easy to follow and get the best tax return I'm entitled to. I transfer the basic information from year to year, which saves me quite a bit of time and finish my return in less than 30 minutes. I have never had a problem with my tax return, thanks to H&R! I have used the program for many years. This time it licked up on me near the end, asking for an entry in a space that was reserved and did not permit an entry. I called and after a long wait was able to speak with an agent who researched the issue and advised me to delete the return and start over. I did so and the second time around it worked without a hitch. So, not great but good enough would be my rating.
