Software is easy to use. Pre-filling in information from the previous year makes it go must faster. When it checks for errors, it is sometimes hard to understand if you really need that information. Instead of 5 free federal filings, reduce that and include a free state filling.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

Too expensive by far for a simple, uncomplicated return. When the software is offered at a discount for early purchase in the Fall, there is no option to buy, at a discount, a more simple, less expensive software to use in filing a Senor return. I used to be able to itemize but no more due to tax law changes and do not need software like Deluxe.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I found it difficult to access information I had previously entered and wanted to review or change. For instance, I wanted to review estimated payments to my state. In previous versions, if I clicked on the entry in the form, I would be brought to the worksheet where the supporting infromation had been entered.
Also I accidentally checked the box for an extension and was unable to erase the checkmark. I was very disappointed that these simple tasks were unable to be done or were so difficult to achieve.

There are still some explanations that should be easier to understand, like pension plans,private/ military/railroad. I would also like to see state efile included and less federal.
