Been using hrb software for many years. Easy to use for filling outyour taxes. Price keeps going up but what isn't.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

The tax program was very good. I have been using your program for years. The issue is when I filed the state program your system charged me 3 times for 1 filing. A credit should have been credited immediately.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

The software was adequate for the purpose. I have used Block software for several years now, having switched over from Tax Cut when the latter became considerably more expensive. The conversion was easy, the software handling all file conversion from the competing product. Now that they a back near price parity I may rethink that decision next year. Block requires a still familiarity with how to complete your tax forms, and for user to enter some information in duplicate places. I bought my Block software directly from the Block site. Nevertheless I was not emailed the download link. Following a lengthy call to customer service I was emailed a subsequent link that didn't work. Third try is the charm I guess. Then I had a technical problem, admittedly it was ultimately my error, but the software wouldn't run. After a call to technical help all I could get was a bot. Eventually I fought my way to the queue for a person. I was promised a call back "within 60 minutes." Days went by with no call. Again after fighting my way past the bot I opted to wait on the line for a human agent. The agent had no idea what to do, and worked her way through a service manual. After an hour of trying one thing after another and multiple reboots, we finally got it solved. I was ready to just uninstall Block software and just pay for another competitor product.

Good product. However have state remember property id number.

Meh - does the job, better with small improvements

Tiny light gray lettering on white background is not user friendly for this type of task.
Overall, it was fairly easy to use, but found it subpar to navigate between forms/questions, and the back button sometimes would seem to take me to somewhere other than the prior page.
Would like to see a graphic on the side showing where I am in the process. A few other simple nice-ities would improve my rating.
I will take a deeper look at their competitors for 2026, beyond the basic matrix of comparators.
Pros: Fast
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
