I have used this software every year for several years now. I don’t think I get the highest return refund compared to some others, but it easy to use.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

We have used H & R Block tax software for several years now and find it usually leads us through the tax filing process well. Once in a while we don't understand something in their explanations, but it always works out. This year we found a steps that had to be followed for estimated taxes confusing, as we did not need to do estimated taxes, but the software would not let us by pass it. This was, as I said confusing, and slow us down as we kept questioning if we were doing something wrong.
Pros: Easy to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worst experience ever. Got to the e-filing part, selected Federal and AZ State, and only the Federal completed, and now I cannot e-file the AZ State return and I am forced to print and mail the return, with all attachments! I tried TaxCut this year because of the price, but TurboTax is worth the extra cost. I have been e-filing my returns since the first time I could do so many, many years ago - and this yest was the worst filing ever.

I had to uninstall my first download from your site. My computer would not open it up. I tried to reinstall it and realized I had to type in the confirmation code and not copy/paste it. I finally was able to download and install. A very frustrating afternoon.
Otherwise the software downloaded.
I have one big issue. I use Victory Funds from Texas and wish you would allow me the availability to download it.

I rated only three stars because the AI help with a question I had was not helpful. I had to go of the program to Google. In years past, I have had some questions answered by HR chat, but I'm guessing that is now replaced with the AI help. I might have overlooked it. I still like the software and plan to use it again as I have for years.

I've used H&R Block tax software for many years. I find it easier to use than either the web-based Block version or any of the other software out there. This year I got started as soon as the W-2s started arriving and was finished with my taxes by February 15 - a new record for me. Easy-peasy!
