The product is functioning well and delivers a better value relative to its competitors. It’s recommend that the software builds-in a better way to deal with the not informally issued IP PIN in a systematic fashion.
Pros: Maximizes refund, Fast

Nothing but Problems!

I've used this software for at least ten years and this year have no end of problems with it. First, it did not import all of last year's data. I had to retype the information for all accounts that got a form 1099. Second, the premium version included a free state filing. When I finished the Federal Return and went to do the State the only option on the screen was the paid one. I paid for something I didn't get. Finally, I tried to file the federal return electronically and it was rejected even though I used the code that was given in the program. I don't know where they went off the road this year but they had better fix it.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very helpful product but the software creates too many reviews for 1099B imports. The worst case is asking for acquired dates on holdings that have been held for years and have no acquired date. I have to enter VAR-L to "fix" the transaction to be able to file. And why does it list dozens of $0 transactions that I wind up deleting, and why is the transaction description so cryptic that I have no clue where to find and update said transaction? Why doesn't the software keep my payment info including license number and expiration dates? I will keep buying but I don't like the collateral pain each year.
