A bit too much pressure washer for a small print shop

A pressure washer is a staple piece of equipment in any screenprinting shop, so this is a printshop-specific review (because that's what I'm using it for).
I wanted something a bit more powerful than the standard, portable, 1500psi pressure washers that are on the market, and this definitely fits the bill. It's super powerful, and makes washing out exposed screens, and reclaiming old screens a breeze.
The only major drawbacks are space and noise. If you have some extra room in your washout area, it won't be a problem, but if you have a tight space, stick with a smaller, portable option (this is about 3-4 times the size). The motor runs continuously when it's turned on, which can get irritating if you're waiting a couple minutes for screens to burn. It also has a release valve, so if you let it idle for a couple minutes, it'll start spitting water on your floor.
I think it would be ideal for a larger volume printshop that has a dedicated pressure washer for reclaiming screens. Overall, it's a great washer, but if you have a smaller shop, you probably don't need much more than a small, portable model. I've only had it a few weeks, but I'm curious to see how long it holds up. Most of the portable ones I've had over the years burn out after a year or so.
I was expecting to be underwhelmed by the power compared to a gas pressure washer, I was incorrect. It is solid, it isn't as loud, and I no longer have to deal with gasoline. Overall I am pretty pleased with this. I won't be using it to blast concrete off construction equipment but I can't think of a single at home use this wouldn't fit the bill for. Good machine. I can't speak to the durability yet but I think it will be fine for a long while. I will update later if that changes, however I do not think it will break or wear out any time soon.
Works without water source and with hose attached. I have several 4 amp batteries so last long enough. Great when there is no water supply for boat, vehicles and deck.
Skeptical at first but extremely impressed- I used this industrial grade electric power washer for property management tasks both residential and commercial.
The pro’s:
-pressure and flow were seamless -cord length is more than sufficient -detergent tank size was great -folds up vertical which is a bonus -hardy but not heavy
The con’s:
Honestly don’t have any yet- love having a unit that does not use gas, starts at the press of a button and is not irritatingly loud. Will definitely recommend it to others- excited to try out their battery operated products as well!
Well made and innovative. I haven't used the water reservoir, instead connecting a garden hose to the hose adapter. Sufficient pressure to clean a composite deck, but the battery discharges in about 15 min.
bought this and tried to use it: came with no jet attachments; worked like regular hose used my old attachment battery lasted five minutes in heavy spray.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello ron wash mo,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with this product. We are concerned to read that you are feeling let down and that the unit has not fully met your expectations. This Greenworks Pro 60V Cordless Portable Pressure Washer features a brushless motor, generating 1800-PSI for a wide variety of cleaning applications. The innovative 5 gallon bucket is detachable and the base connects directly to your hose for continuous water flow. The kit includes 15° & 40° quick connect nozzles, stored directly on the gun, for a variety of applications The 15-degree creates a 15-degree wide sheet of water spray at the nozzle. Once the spray hits the surface the pressure is less because its force is spread over a larger area. The 40-degree is the gentlest spray. Held at the right distance you would use a 40-degree nozzle to clean windows. This product has a fairly high power draw and does deplete batteries quickly. This unit may be used with all Greenworks 60V battery models. The higher the ampere-hour (Ah) rating is, the greater the run time. Approximate run times: 2.0 Ah ~ up to 5 minutes 4.0 Ah ~ up to 12 minutes 6.0 Ah ~ up to 18 minutes Hope this helps! If there is anything we can do to help improve your experience, please let us know!
