After doing my homework I finally pulled the trigger and I have not been disappointed. First pressure washer I've owned, have had no problems. Added a few accessories: longer hose, compact gun, soap cannon and some quick disconnects. Hope to get a lot of work out of this washer.
Decent power for around the house… don’t expect gas powered performance. Handy for cleaning windows, vehicles and patio furniture. Well built and reliable.
Bought this 2300 green works pressure washer at the end off summer last year. I used it once to spray off my car. My plans was to use it to clean driveway so zu can seal it and to clean the siding. It runs for 30 seconds and shuts off. Maybe thermal overloads. It was coming back on but after the 3rd time cycling this way it does do anything. Unplugged it test GFCI. What’s the deal… this thing has been used once for 10 minutes. Very very unhappy with this product!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Gd Fn Bs.
Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. It sounds as though your nozzles may be clogged or there is some air trapped in the unit, these are common issues. With the following troubleshooting, this should be resolved! Please be sure to follow closely as these steps are not as effective when altered. 1) To clean the nozzles, soak all your nozzles in a half and half mixture of warm water and white vinegar. Soak all the nozzles for about an hour and then proceed to poke your nozzle cleaning tool or paper clip through the end of the nozzle hole to poke out any debris. After you have done this, rinse them with warm water. Your nozzles will now be free of any obstructions causing the unit to malfunction. 2) Purge any excess air from the pump. Set up the unit as per usual and ensure you are not using an extension cord. Remove any nozzle that may be connected at the end of the wand. Make sure that you have a green light on the GFCI on the power cord. Turn your garden hose on but leave the pressure washer turned OFF. With the pressure washer turned off, squeeze on the trigger for about 3 minutes – allowing the water to run through the unit at no pressure. In doing so, you are bleeding the unit out of any air that may be stuck in the pump. After 3 minutes, turn the unit on. If it is running, reinstall one of your clean nozzles and continue using the unit. 3) Ensure that the water source is fully opened and is at least 45PSI. 4) There should be 10' of unrestricted garden hose between the hose connection and the unit, any kinks will prevent the flow of water going into the unit and prevent proper pressure. Much stronger stream than you can get with a hose but I was disappointed with its range. To really get the grime, baked on dirt and pollen/sidewalk stains, I had to have the nozzle about 4-6” away from the area. It works great when you can achieve that distance but it was useless to reach the second story and eaves of my house. But it’s light to move about and much more pleasant to use than gas powered washers I have rented before. I’m happy with the purchase but wish it was less expensive because of its limited areas I can use it.
Having recently purchased a mountain home, it was obvious that the deck, while well built and in good condition, was weathered, dirty and needed power washing and a penefin oil application. The deck is made of Brazilian Walnut, and the 1800psi washer I borrowed from a friend was simply not up to the task of cleaning the deck efficiently. I gave up with that machine and set out to research power washers. I did not want the hassle of a gas powered power washer, and after a lot of internet research I chose the Pro 2799 from Greenworks. WOW! What a difference! It has plenty of power, and functioned flawlessly as I powered through my project. It seems the deck had not been power washed in a long time, but now should be an easy task once in the spring and once in the fall. By the way, the unit is well packaged and easy to put together. Thanks!
