The clippers I've been waiting for!

I have owned and used similar trimmers in the past, but this one surpassed them all. It`s extremely easy to use and feels good in your hand. The blades work very well and don`t pull on the hair. Previous products missed hairs and didn`t feel comfortable to use, while this Norelco trimmer quickly got all the hair and didn`t pull at all. The motor is quieter than others I`ve tried, which is a nice bonus. It`s so smooth and glided around my nostrils and ears like nothing. The installation of the battery is easy and quick, and I use a rechargeable AA battery for mine for less waste. I also really enjoyed the eyebrow trimmer attachment. It clips on easily and is very user-friendly. Just attach the plastic attachment and run it through your bushy eyebrows. It only took one, maybe two, passes and my eyebrows looked neat and tidy. No more wild hairs sticking out! I used this product on my nose and ear hair, eyebrows, and even on my face for a few odd hairs here and there. I was honestly expecting this product to be the same as any other that I`ve had - which includes other Norelco styles - but I`ve been very pleasantly surprised as how much better it works. The shape of the blade head is perfect, without any odd angles or pieces to get lost. I highly recommend this trimmer for guys who need a quick, easy, comfortable way to trim all that unsightly hair.

One of the best brands for these types of products. Not to many other brands can promise to give consistent results like Phillips does. Works great! No uncomfortable hair pulls or burning smell. Very quiet and smooth operation. Nice hand feel and great design. I love it and highly recommend!

The trimmer you need to keep a clean looking nose

I received the Norelco Nose Trimmer 1000 for free to test and keep in exchange for writing a review of it. Let me start by saying that this product trims hairs well and keeps my nose clean and hairless. So the trimming level is great whether I want to use on my ears or my eyebrows —it all it does a fabulous job. It is worth using everyday without getting any irritation or pulling. Plus, this product is not only easy to use but has great blades to trim. Now let’s move to its design..it’s a “hand-friendly“ and very way to maneuver trimmer. Best of all, it’s washable and easy to clean so when you’re done just rinse and it’s ready for next use. I would recommend it to anyone looking to keep their nose clean without any hairs sticking out.

Better Design

The Norelco nose trimmer is a very good product. Most noticeable feature is the design of the blades, rather than moving in a circular motion they move up and down. This does a better job of trimming and unlike with a circular blade I did not notice any pulling of the hairs. Another nice feature is it came with an attachment to be able to trim your eyebrows. I found it work very well. It is a very simple product but the instructions were very clear and easy to use. The design makes it easy to hold and changing the battery is very easy as well. It also comes with a small brush for cleaning in between use. About the only improvement I would like to see is a holder or bag to keep all accessories together as the eyebrow attachment and brush are small and may be easy to lose.

I’ve tried other similar electric trimmers so I didn’t expect much but I was extremely surprised. This Norelco was very sleek and worked fantastic. It seems to be well crafted and made to feel great in the hand. I didn’t have any problems using it and was pleased with the results after using it. it’s small and doesn’t take up much room in my shave bag and would even consider putting one in my car for on the good emergencies.

Excellent nose trimmer!

The Philips Norelco nose trimmer worked great overall at its main purpose, trimming nose hairs. I have used a different nose trimmer in the past that had the trimmer exposed. This model has some sort of a built-in guard over the actual trimmers so that you don't have to worry about it pulling nose hairs or cutting anything inside your nose. I have very thick nose hair and this trimmer worked great. No pulling and it trimmed the nose hairs nicely. The trimmer blades cut nicely and the shield fit perfectly fine into the nostril. I've been using this trimmer for a couple of weeks and the battery life seems to be excellent with the nose trimmer still performing just as it did when I installed a new battery. The trimmer came with a little mini brush to clean the hairs off the trimmer, but cleanup is super easy since you can rinse it to remove the hairs. I also used this trimmer to trim my eyebrows, which it did a good job of. It was a little awkward at first to use it on the eyebrows as the handle seemed to thick and I couldn't get the right angle I wanted, but after some use I figured it out and use it with no problems. I also used it to trim ear hairs. It did trim the ear hair, but for my ears I prefer a very close shave. This trimmer left some very short ear hair which I'm sure would be fine for some people, but that's not my personal taste. Overall, this is a great grooming tool for anyone looking to safely and gently trim nose hairs with the added bonus of eyebrow and ear hair trimming!

Good product, does its job well

This trimmer came at an ideal time--with my state under a shelter in place order, any incentive to trim my facial hair had gone out the window as I had no reason to leave my house. Upon receiving this trimmer, I immediately opened the box and noticed how light and foolproof the trimmer was. There are symbols on the device itself that show the user how to turn the device on and off and also how to open the trimmer to change the battery. Additionally, there are similar symbols at the top of the device that assist the user with removing the head of the trimmer. This allows for easier cleaning. With that in mind, one of the key features of this trimmer is the fact that it IS waterproof-so often I`ll be using electric razors, trimmers, or something similar and wish that the device was waterproof to make for simpler cleanup. This device being waterproof was a huge positive for me and, after using the feature, I can confirm that the device is definitely waterproof. Additionally, as noted above, I liked how light the device was and also like that the device came with a `guide` to use when trimming your eyebrows to prevent the unfortunate occurrence of shaving them off! As for dislikes go I was not entirely impressed with the power of the device. Sure, this is a nose hair trimmer and should not be used as a facial hair trimmer, but I felt that with the small footprint of the device/blades it would be incredibly helpful to use for smaller, quicker trimming jobs. Additionally, I tried to trim my eyebrows with the device and again ran into the power issue but also discovered that the device itself, while being easy to `use` is not the easiest to actually trim with. I was not sure where the blades were, where to position the device to get the most out of the blades, or how to even use the device itself to maximize its blades. With all of this said, the device worked well for trimming nose hair; it was the secondary trimmings (eyebrows, cleaning up edges of beard, trimming below nose) that it fell short. All in all, I would recommend this device as a very simple nose trimmer that is simple to use and light/small enough to be put away when not in use.
