Used product over the weekend. Durability is good, only had it for a couple days, but it looks well built. Trimmers cut good, was confused on the extra part that came with trimmer. understand the brush, but other part was confusing. Put it as a guard to protect the trimmers. A bit loud, but it`s manageable. Overall the trimmers cut great, function as expected, but some cons. But overall good trimmer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I’m a little disappointed in this product. It seems to be a little weak and slow cutting when in use. I put a fresh battery in it from the beginning, and replaced with another fresh battery, but it has made little difference.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If you have confirmed that your Philips Nose Trimmer has a full battery and it is still not working, then it may not be working because it is dirty and the cutting unit is blocked. We advise that you clean your nose trimmer after each use for optimal performance. If rinsing the trimming head under the tap is not sufficient, immerse the trimming head in a glass with warm water for a few minutes. Do not put the handle of the trimmer in the water, as this can damage its internal machinery. If this does not help, detach the nose trimmer attachment and soak this part separately in water for 8 hours. You can also lubricate the trimming head with a drop of sewing machine oil every six months.

I can't use it. I had to go back to my old one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is very noisy in my ears and does not trim the hairs. I went back to my old Philips trimmer 0814. I can see and hear it trimming the nose and ear hairs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thanks for taking the time to leave this review. We're sorry to hear that the performance of the Norelco Nosetrimmer is not what you expected, and that you went back to using your previous trimmer. Unfortunately some noise from the trimmer is inevitable. If you feel that it is abnormally loud, however, please contact us.
To ensure optimal performance of the Nosetrimmer, we recommend cleaning it immediately after each use by following these detailed cleaning instructions:
1. Use the cleaning brush to remove any excess hair from the cutting element.
2. Rinse the cutting element of the trimming head with hot water.
3. Switch on the product and rinse the cutting element once more to remove any remaining hairs. Then switch off the product again.
4. Rinse the combs with lukewarm water. You can also use the cleaning brush to clean the eyebrow combs.
5. Carefully shake off excess water and let all parts air dry. Let all parts dry completely before you use the product again.
Tip: If rinsing the trimming head under the tap is not sufficient, immerse the trimming head in a glass with warm water for a few minutes. Then switch on the product and rinse it under the tap.

As a Nose Trimmer it Excels.

The old adage is never truer, you get what you pay for. As a nose trimmer the Phillips 1500 is quite adequate and definitely gets the job done. However, as an eyebrow trimmer it simply did not work. The machine comes with an `eyebrow guard` that seems to render the machine useless. After numerous attempts I was unable to cut a single hair from my eyebrow. Without the guard I had minimal success. The trimmer on my electric shaver does a much better job. As for ear hair, I had the same problem. I was unable to get the trimmer to work properly. Again, the trimmer on my electric shaver did a much better job.
So, if you need a trimmer specifically for nose hair, at this price point , you cant go wrong and I highly recommend it. For other purposes? Forget about it.

Trimmer looks cool

The norelco nose trimmer has a great look and sleek design. The added eye brow trimmer is a great feature and design. When it comes to the function it does not meet the expectations. My nose hairs were not trimmed properly and it seemed to be a poor design in serving the function.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Waste of money

I bought this item for the simple fact I have used plenty of your other hair grooming trimmers and they worked completely fine. This item would hardly trim anything. Extremely disappointed

Before trimming, make sure your device is clean and your nose and ear are free from any mucus or wax. After using the nose trimmer, it is normal to observe remaining hairs. The hairs will be cut to a short length so the remaining hairs will continue to provide safe and comfortable protection (as a defense system to keep particles out of the body). Very good clippers

Theses nose clippers are great I also used them for eyebrow trimming and ear hair trimming This is the first time I've purchased a nose clipper with this design. In the past I've purchased trimmers with the rotation blades at the top. I was afraid the side blades would clip the skin in my nose.
To my surprise these clippers did not clip my skin. Easy to use great design. Works great. I would recommend this product

Great build quality and easy to use

I have bought a different shaver before and like this one much better.
Here is why:
1) build quality seems very good
2) easy to operate. simply twist body to turn on and off
3) long blade with cutters all of the way around the blade
4) easy to clean
5) include a cleaning brush
6) uses one AA battery (included)
7) brand i can trust
