Excellent so far (It does seem durable although I've only had it for a little over a month). A Complete headlamp that not only has Flawless Voice Control (that works much better than motion control for my purposes) but furthermore they added the ARC lighting which is an Area Lighting feature than is a separate LED around the perimeter of the headlamp which not only lights your whole area but provides a warmer light, what they call a light of a warmer temperature in the flashlight industry so now you have the option for the traditional coast light which is great very bright white clear and illuminates brightly but is slightly on the colder side (I think this tends to add distance and clarity which is good) but now you have a much warmer light in addition to that, which gives a nice different vibe sometimes. This really completes the headlamp and makes it a complete headlamp considering you have the spotlight option ☄️ the flood light option ⚪ the Green 🟢 Blue 🔵 or Red 🔴 light option - the Voice Control option and the ARC area lighting with the Warmer Light so you have two different light temperatures and all different variations of lighting styles from flood to bright bullseye light. As well as the option for a very long-lasting low lumens light.
The only possible downsides I can see is if you're trying to lay down on your back on a bed with the headlamp for instance to read in a tent before bed, As with all headlamps that have a backside battery pack you would prefer to use a headlamp without a backside battery pack if laying down at night so you buy another Coast headlamp for that scenario, or a Coast standalone LED Lantern Lamp. The only other real critique would be it's not totally waterproof but this isn't the type of headlamp you're going to take underwater anyway and it will hold up to storms plenty well with its water resistance.
They do have waterproof ones I believe the WPH30 or 34, Not sure about that you better verify it.
One last thing I'll say is that the magnetic brightness adjustment knob is it great innovation but could use a little fine tuning. Also, it would be really cool if eventually you could fine tune the Light Temperature but that's probably difficult to do from a circuitry engineering perspective.
But this company has been pushing the envelopes on headlamp innovation so just a thought or suggestion for future headlamp ideas.

I bought this running light specifically for the Hood-to-Coast relay, and it worked perfectly during my two nighttime legs. Easy to use, excellent illumination.

Purchased this for Hood to Coast. Love the voice commands and it was surprising how easily that worked. My first run with the headlamp was a bit awkward. This lamp is a bit heavy and the back light felt odd. I chalked it up to the first use. When I actually used it for HTC, I wore a headband under the lamp for extra cushioning and because it was 4:30 AM, 40*, and raining. It worked and felt great. The light was bright enough to illuminate the very dark forest path so much that I felt confident in where I was going. It wasn’t until my last run, at 2:30 AM, that the lamp died on me. I failed to charge the headlamp when I first ordered it, so the battery was not 100%.
Take aways: I wish the box came with a big bright yellow sign that told you to charge it when you first get it. I also wish the back lamp was on a slightly flexible piece of plastic so it could be better contoured to a persons head. If it could be lighter in general, that would be great, but it’s an amazing lamp with lots going on, so that might not be possible.

I saw this new voice activated light and had to have it. I use a headlight at work constantly so I can have my hands free to do work. I hadnt tried any Coast headlights before this one but I am impressed. It is much easier to use in command mode than using manually. I imagine if I messed with it enough I could get it down but just easier to use voice mode. The charging time on this light is pretty standard 2 hours or so. It is nice it has a power level indicator on it. I like the rear blinking red light to so if I am working at night I am noticeable. The optional colors are useable but not quite bright enough to work by. Only two "complaints". Didnt come with hardhat clips. No biggie, had some from prior light but would be useful additions. In noisy areas, the voice command doesnt respond. (and my 4 year olds squeaky voice doesnt work either lol) overall this light is an excellent aid at work and I would recommend it to everyone.

Excellent headlamp, could use 1 small improvement

This is a top-quality product, and has an amazing amount of options with the voice control. I have noticed that occasionally, while the voice activation is on, a random noise or conversation will sometimes activate the headlamp (when I've previously told it "Coast Off"), potentially blinding someone I'm talking with. My suggested improvement is to add a locking voice command, "Coast Lock," and then in order to use the voice control again, my first command would need to be "Coast Unlock." I know I can press the green button to activate and deactivate, but a spoken command would be easier and very helpful!

This is probably the best headlamp I have ever owned. It’s perfect with so many. Adjust abilities for any light level conditions you need. Unfortunately, this is also the most uncomfortable headlamp I have ever used. I wish that there was a little bit more padding in the front and back. If it was a little bit more comfortable, I would give it five stars.
