I also tried Elmer's glue stick and School Glue. I preferred Staples purple glue stick because you can see where the glue is (unlike the white Elmer's stick) and you don't have to deal with Elmer's liquid glue.

The color didn't show at all

This glue stick claims to look purple when first applied but it didn't at all. Applied directly to white paper the glue just appears clear. Such a disappointment.

i found this glue did not have the strength of other glue sticks that I have purchased. These were used in a preK / K program
