This product is especially great for young children since the glue looks purple when it is first applied. The little ones can see where the glue is and don't waste it by going over and over the same spot.

I bought these for my son so that he can glue papers into his subject notebooks for school. Honestly I cannot tell the difference between these glue sticks and Elmer's glue sticks. They have a very strong bond with the paper and the purple helps him know where glue has already been placed. i have been very impressed with the Staples version of these glue sticks and would recommend them to anyone.

Our students used these for cut/paste spelling activities but the glue would dry our before they could cut anything out. Plus it came out in chunks. :(
